Director 
Miss Katie is the Director of Precious Little Blessings. Katie has always had a passion for working with children and their families. When she was young, she was always babysitting and volunteering at elementary schools and childcare centers. Katie graduated from Rasmussen Business College in 2001 as a Child Care Specialist. She worked for St. Joe’s Daycare & St. Therese Daycare throughout her schooling and was with them for over 12 years. Katie was a part time Personal Care Assistant for children with disabilities for over 15 years and has nannied for many families throughout her life. Katie has a daughter that is a Precious Little Blessings graduate, two step sons and a dog and a cat. When not at work Katie enjoys spending time with her family, her pets and her friends. She loves being a mom, an auntie and now a grandma too!

Preschool Teacher 
Miss Kelli lives in Glencoe just three blocks from Precious Little Blessings. Kelli and her boyfriend Chris, have two boys Devin and Garrett, and a dog, Casper. They love spending time at the lake. Kelli also enjoys reading, gardening, biking and just being with her family! Kelli has 13 years prior experience working with children. She was a PCA for children with special needs; has worked in childcare centers and ran an in-home daycare. She loves children and watching them grow and learn. Recently she started attending school to get her CDA.

Preschool Teacher 
Miss Sammy graduated from Ridgewater College, Hutchinson with an Associates in Early Childhood Education. She lives in Hutchinson with her boyfriend, Caleb and are currently expecting their first child! 🙂 Sammy has 3 dogs, Ryn, Nova and Oreo. She enjoys time at the park when not too busy with life. Sammy’s love for children comes from her 8 nieces and nephews!

Toddler Teacher 
Miss Bethany lives in Glencoe with her husband Jack and their son Luka. She is the 10th of 12 children! Bethany grew up watching her nieces and nephews as well as babysitting for other families. In 2021 she graduated from MSU Mankato, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Bethany loves singing songs with the children and watching them grow and explore the world around them. In her free time, Bethany enjoys knitting, sewing and spending time with her family.

Toddler Teacher 
Miss Anna graduated from Bemidji State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She has a love of music and was in both the church choir and band as a teen. Miss Anna has been working in a childcare setting since 2019. She has one daughter, born April 2021, currently attending PLB.

Toddler Aide 
Miss Audrey lives here in Glencoe, but is originally from Southern Alabama. She has enjoyed being around children since she was a child and enjoys watching children grow into their personalities. Audrey finished high school in December 2023 and had her son, Henry early January 2024. In her free time, Audrey bakes, reads and hangs out at parks. Audrey’s long-term goal is to go to college for Elementary Education.

Infant Teacher 
Miss Alexis has always enjoyed getting children active and teaching them new things. During the summers Alexis has lead activities at the park for children who wanted to get out and play group games. She volunteered at her church helping with Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Alexis loves comfy sweaters and movies nights. Her favorite season is winter, as long as she not driving! 🙂

Infant Teacher 
Miss Hannah graduated from Glencoe Silver Lake this year and will be attending Ridgewater College for Early Childhood Education. She has always loved working with children and watching them learn and grow. Hannah’s favorite activities are being outside and going to the lake.

Infant Aide
Miss Amy lives in Glencoe and has 2 grown children. Her daughter is married and has 2 young boys. Her grandsons are her pride and joy! Amy enjoys being outside in the summer and tending to my many flower gardens, reading on the patio, playing with her grandsons at the park or spending time with my daughter and son-in-law at their home. In the winter she prefers to hibernate after work. Amy likes to color, read, give “loves” to her cats, play games on her tablet and watch movies. “I’m happy to be a part of Precious Little Blessings, it’s fun and rewarding to be with the littles.”

Float Teacher 
Miss Stephanie graduated from Alexandria MN with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has four years’ experience working in child care centers and a lot of her free time in high school was spent babysitting and tutoring. Stephanie loves getting to spend her days caring for young children, watching them grow and teaching them new things. Stephanie moved to Glencoe in September 2022 and has a cat, Rainn and a dog, Drake. She spends her free time with family, baking and fishing.

Float Aide 
Miss Maggie grew up outside Glencoe on a hobby farm with her family, she is still living and helping there. It was with her family that Maggie developed a great love for the faith and a great love of life. With 5 younger siblings, she has had many experiences with children. Maggie enjoys many things, but a few of her favorites are reading (especially Rangers Apprentice), singing, hanging out with family, and nonsense poetry. “I have truly enjoyed being part of the great team at Precious Little Blessings, and I am excited to get to know each one of you!”

Float Aide 
Miss Maddie lives in Plato with her parents and twin brother. She has a cat named Tippy and he is her favorite thing in the world! Maddie likes to go hiking, hang out with friends and watch movies. She loves being around children and watching the learn and grow!

Substitute Assistant Teacher 
Miss Beth (better known as Mima) is an aspiring retiree. Beth spent 30 years at Scott County working with teen parents and youth, 13 years at St. Francis Hospital as an aide and a health monitor coordinator. She has a B.S. degree from Mary College Bismarck, ND. Beth is enjoying life as “Mima” and taking vacations as often as she can!

Substitute Aide 
Miss Zoie lives in Brownton, MN and graduated from GSL in 2020. She has many siblings, 5 dogs, 2 horses and 1 cat. In the future Zoie plans on attending college and furthering her education in early childhood development.

Miss Kathi grew up on a farm by Hamburg and graduated from Glencoe High School. She has 2 children Brian, wife Michelle and Beth, husband Scott. She has 3 grandsons Sam, Will and Owen. Kathi worked at Starkey’s for 30 years repairing and building new hearing aids. Her hobbies are her flower gardens, cross stitching, reading, walking and trying new recipes, especially soup recipes! The things Kathi enjoys the most is spending time with my family and friends and going out to eat.

Miss Holly lives in Plato with her husband Neil and baby boy Levi. She loves children and has 10 years’ experience working in child care. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching T.V. and spending time with family and friends.

Substitute Aide 
Miss Leslie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy. She went on to work in day care centers and Long-Term Care Centers as a Music Therapist. She also has several years of teaching in public schools as a classroom teacher, a music teacher and a substitute teacher. In addition, she had her own private music instructor business for over a decade. More recently, she pursued a Master’s degree at Bethel University in Christian counseling, with an emphasis in play therapy. Leslie is a singer songwriter as well as a composer. Music is her passion. Her other loves are children, nature, animals, and dancing like nobody’s watching.

Miss Megan is very outgoing and friendly, much like her sister Miss Alexis! 🙂 She LOVES having dance parties and will be attending the University of Wisconsin – Superior this fall.

Miss Eva attends Sibley East High School and will graduate Spring 2025. She will be helping out at PLB on non school days and will be here all summer!! Some of Eva’s hobbies include going to the lake, art, spending time with friends, babysitting and making memories with family! Eva is excited to be a part of our PLB Family and is looking forward to getting to know all the PLB children!!

Substitute Aide 
Miss Addy is going into 12th grade at Glencoe Silver Lake High School. She loves babysitting and working with children! Addy likes reading books to children and watching them identify different animals, numbers and colors. She loves watching them learn things and how they bring energy to the classrooms. Addy loves all the different personalities of the children she gets to work with, and connecting with them is her favorite part of her job! 🙂

Volunteer 
Miss Janet lives in Plato with her husband and three sons. She enjoys golfing with friends, spending time with family, reading and playing tone chimes at church. Janet is a member at St. John’s Lutheran Church and has recently started taking classes to get her CDA. She loves working with all the staff, wonderful families and especially the children here at Precious Little Blessings.
